Every week I review 3 games from the NFL. This week the teams are the Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New Orleans Saints.
Chicago Bears- This week the Bears took on the Detroit Lions and really impressed the fans. The game started off a bit shaky and the Lions scored on their first two drives. After those drive the Bears defense stepped up and stopped the Lions for the most part for the rest of the game. Cutler impressed again and is improving his relationship with the receivers. Knox topped the victory off with a Kickoff return for a touchdown to open up the second half. Next week the Bears have a bye week.
Pittsburgh Steelers- Steelers had a big game on Sunday night vs the San Diego Chargers because if they lost the super bowl champs would have been 1-3 to open up the year. After giving up 4th quarter leads to both the Bears and the Bengals the Steelers almost coughed up another on Sunday night. Entering the 4th quarter the Steelers had a solid lead and gave up 21 points but were able to secure the game on a late field goal. If they could play a whole game they would be 4-0 but instead they are 2-2. Next week the Steelers play the Lions next week and should be 3-2 after that.
New Orleans Saints- This week the Saints proved that they not only have a powerful offense but a very solid defense to go along with Drew Brees. They beat the prevously undefeated Jets and the defense scored as many touchdowns as the offense. The Saints look very dangerous this year if they can keep up the balance of high powered offense and a stingy defense. Next week they take on another undefeated team in the New York Giants. Look for them to sweep New York this year and continue their winning streak.
