Browns Conspiracy

CT and I were talking yesterday about the lack of blockbuster trades in the NFL. I mean really, there are never any big trades during the season. No big ESPN trade deadline special. And then today, as if the NFL gods were listening, the Browns traded Braylon Edwards to the Jets. Not just traded him, dumped him. Wide receiver Chansi Stuckey, linebacker Jason Tusnik and two draft picks. Unless those are major picks, that's not much of a haul for a player who can be a premier receiver in the league when focused.

However, there is something else here. Clearly 2 JAGS, (Just A Guy) and 2 picks isn't the whole story. Less than a week ago Edwards reportedly punched a friend of Cleveland King LeBron James. We here at CT&TBG believe the Browns are making a move in effort to get King James in a Browns jersey.

"Hey LeBron, even if one of our players punches one of your boys when your not on our team, we got your back. Just think about wearing a 23 Browns jersey in the off season."
Ready to Do Whatever You Want,
Browns Ownership

Just imagine LeBron lining up under center in the NFL. Being a goal line receiver. An outside linebacker. Can you say 3,000 passing yards, 1,000 rushing, 20 TD catches, 40 sacks? Who could stop that type of athlete on the football field? He could out jump everyone, blow past any tackle, bowl over secondary players and outrun anyone his size.

While we here at CT&TBG doubt this will ever happen, we commend the Browns effort. It's not like anything else they're doing is putting butts in seats.
