Each week I will be reviewing the Bears and and two others teams from the NFL. I will give pros and cons about the Bears game and how I feel they will do the next week. This week my teams are the Bears, Bengals, and Vikings.
1. Bears(2-1) After the disastrous week one Jay Cutler had vs the Packers at Lambeau Field throwing 4 interceptions and having a qb rating of 43.2 I'm sure that many of the Chicago fans were thinking about their history of struggles at the quarterback position. I'm sure many of their feelings have changed after last weeks come back late in the 4th quarter and again this week with another late comeback from Cutler and the Bears. The game started out with a bang by Knox's 53 yard return to start the game. Unfortunently the Bears were unable to capitalize on the great field position and the Seahawks really owned the Bears in the first half. Then the Bears offense woke up late in the second quarter and had a key touchdown to be down 13-7 at half. The Bears came out the second half ready to play and and held the Seahawks to 6 points in the second half. Bears score on their last drive for a second straight week and Hester was finally able to show off his speed.
Pros- Cutler really impressed me again this week with athletic ability and strong arm. 21-27 with 3 touchdowns, Cutler seems to finally be getting comfortable with his recievers and tight end. Al Afalava- 6th round pick out of Orgeon State is really impressing me as a rookie at the safety position. He just seems to always be around the ball and is improving every week. Bears again win with solid defense and an impressive pass game by the offense.
Cons- What has happened to Forte and the Bears running game? For the 3rd straight week Forte was held under 100 yards rushing and still does not have a rushing touchdown. He got lucky with a reversed call down by the goal line when he fumbled. Defense seems to come out slow for about a quarter and a half and then come to play. Bears wont be able to keep these come from behind victories up against good teams without getting the running game going and the defense coming to play all 4 quarters.
Week 4- Bears have the Lions who finally snapped their 19 game losing streak and the Bears need to be careful and not overlook the Lions next week. The Lions finally have a taste of victory and would love to come to Chicago and steal one from the Bears. Saying that i believe that the Bears will come ready to play and look to get the rushing game going. Bears win at home Vs. the Lions next week.
2. Bengals- This is a team who is one lucky tipped ball away from being 3-0. After a heart breaking lose to the Broncos week 1, the Bengals beat the Packers on the road and proved themselves against the Steelers today. Palmer finally seems to be back after the injury in the playoffs vs the Steelers a couple years ago. With a late come back from the rushing game by Cedric Benson and a touchdown throw by Carson Palmer. Bengals win a key home division game vs the defending Super Bowl champs. The Bengals travel to Cleveland next week. Cleveland has given up at least 27 points in all three games this year and a struggling offense so look for the Bengals to be 3-1 going into a big Ravens game week 5.
3. Vikings- My pick to win the Super Bowl needed some Farve magic to beat the much improved 49ers to get a win and get to 3-0 this week. Farve is offically a Viking after his last second heroic thouchdown throw to Greg Lewis for a 27-24 victory. Although the 49ers are much better then last years team, the Vikings made this game closer then it should of been. 19 rushes for Adrian Peterson vs. 46 pass attempts is a staggering stat in my eyes. The Vikings have the leagues best runner and should have at least 5 more rushing attempts. Big game next week as the Vikings take on the Packers on Monday night. Look for the Vikings strong denfensive line to get to Rodgers and Peterson to have a big game. Vikings win a big game.

After reading this post, I really wish I hadn't turned off the Bears game when they were down 13-0!
